Before and After Care
how to make your spray tan last...
Before
Exfoliate with a loofah/wash cloth, (just be sure not to use oils) the closer to your appointment time the better. A paste made out of white sugar and water works wonders! Avoid lotions, make up (eye make up okay), and deodorant right before spray tan.
Shave the day of your appointment.
After
Wear loose, dark clothing.
Try to wait as long as you can before your first shower, at least 10 hours, this will allow the solution to absorb to its fullest potential.
Avoid strenuous exercise or being out in the heat for the first day, sweating will stop absorption in its tracks.
Moisturize once or twice a day to prolong the exfoliation process.
If using hot tubs, pools, or swimming in the ocean, apply a waterproof sunscreen.
